Federal Hi-Bird Fiber Wad Bismuth shells

When it comes to hunting, knockdown power matters, and so does being friendly on the environment, which is where Federal’s Hi-Bird Fiber Wad Bismuth loads come into play.

Available for 12-ga. shotguns in 2 3⁄4" shell lengths, this upland-game load delivers the benefit of 9.6 g/cc, No. 5 bismuth shot, which provides a 22 percent increase in payload compared to steel shot of the same diameter.

Cellulose-based filler material comes standard, along with a cellulose fiber wad and gas-sealing over-powder wad to minimize the left-behind plastics in the field when out hunting.

Shot weight is set at 1 1/4 ozs. and muzzle velocity is calibrated for 1,330 f.p.s. with No. 5-size bismuth shot.

MSRP is $80 (25-round box). For more information, visit federalpremium.com.
